What Ruto’s Administration Means On Gas Prices Since His Swearing In.

The members of the public in the Republic of Kenya are currently getting along and coping with the current economical challenges with the newly sworn in Government led by His Excellency President William Ruto.

 

While campaigning, President Ruto launched his five point manifesto dubbed ‘The Plan’ in which he said Kenya’s economic challenges require

 immediate attention and one of his priorities as President will be to revive the economy in a post-Covid era.

In his own words and promise, His Excellency Ruto said he would carry out bold economic reforms and also would make a decisive break from the business-

 

 

 

as-usual economic policies that would help in accelerating job creation and leave no one behind in the empowerment process.

 

 

However, as per the President Ruto’s regime now, the economy is still worse with the current gas prices and gas cylinders being still higher.

 

 

A breakdown of the general current gas prices are as follows;

 

1. The 6kg complete gas cylinder with gas is going for about Khs 4240 while the same gas refilling price is around Ksh 1540.

 

 

 

2. The 13kg complete gas cylinder with gas is going for about Khs 8130 while the same gas refilling price is around Ksh 3330.

3. The 22.5kg complete gas cylinder with gas is going for about Khs 13,080 while the same gas refilling price is around Ksh 5,580.

4. The 50kg complete gas cylinder with gas is going for about Khs 23,760 while the same gas refilling price is around Ksh 12,260.
