With  the new modifications, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) completed the process of placing individuals who had applied for various programmes.

 

 

 

 

2021/2022 KCSE candidates are projected to be accepted to a variety of higher education institutions for the September 2022/2023 intake.

 

 

 

 

Parents can begin raising school fees by checking where their children have been admitted or selected to attend by following the instructions below.

 

 

 

 

NOTE: Only students who have been accepted into government-sponsored programs are subject to this procedure (formerly known as JAB students).

 

 

 

This is How to Check University Placement via sms code

To check University placement results via SMS code

  • Go to your text messages on your phone
  • Send your index number starting with KCSE year without space to 20842. For example; 202042579709026  or 201942579709026
  • You will receive the placement results

The SMS will cost you ksh. 25.

 

 

 

 

TAKE NOTE: Please don’t waste your money sending an SMS message before the second revision of courses is complete and students have been placed. The sent  SMS code will not bring any results if you use it before then.

 

 

 

 

This is How to Check Course and University admitted to online

For one to check placement results online

  • Visit: http://students.kuccps.net/
  • Now Login with your details as follows;
  • Username: (Use your full Index Number)
  • Enter Year: (e.g 2019)
  • Key in your Password: (Use your Birth Certificate Number)

Immediate after login you should  see the university that you have been placed as shown in the image below

IMPORTANT TO NOTE 1: Details of the course and university you have been placed after the second revision will be available on the kuccps portal.

 

 

 

 

 

Your admission letter will be sent by your University.

 

 

 

Also note  that most institutions like Moi University, University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Maseno University do not send admission letters via posta. You will just have to download them online.
