Origin And Significance Of International Men’s Day, 19th November Annually.

International Men’s Day started in Trinidad and Tobago in 1999, it was created by Dr Jerome Tuluck Singh to commemorate his father’s birthday.




Fast forward 24 years and it is now celebrated in over 80 countries with the aim of highlighting: the social issues faced by men both mentally and physically.



International Men’s Day is celebrated every year on November 19th across the world.



This day is dedicated to raising awareness about the contributions of men to society, their health and well-being, and the improvement of gender relations.





Men’s Day is also observed to promote a sense of positive masculinity.



Furthermore, it raises awareness about the challenges that men face and acknowledges the positive value men bring to the world.





There are various campaigns, seminars, and other events organized to increase awareness of men’s well-being on this day.
