Comparison Of KMTC Fee Structures Between Self Sponsored & Regular Students 2022.

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is undoubtedly the leading institution that prides itself with producing competent officers in medical courses. The institution has several campuses across the country where various courses are offered.

There are two intakes in each year; March intake and September intake. Courses offered range from Certificate to diploma. The college also offers higher diploma courses (post basic) and short courses in various campuses.

In this article am going to write about KMTC fee structure for diploma students. Like other institutions for higher learning, the college admits regular and self sponsored students.

It is important to note the following;

Students are advised to make own arrangements to cover personal expenses incurred during Practical Attachment, Research etc, details of which are available from respective faculties.

Students are encouraged to pay applicable year’s fees in full at the beginning of the academic year but may pay in instalments on/or before commencement of 2nd.

All students to be vaccinated against Hepatitis B and Typhoid before reporting to the college and produce a valid vaccination certificate from a recognized health facility during admission.

All students to have an NHIF Cover or present a Copy of the Parent’s NHIF Card on admission to the college.

Students pursuing Diploma in Community Health Nursing and Clinical Medicine, pay an additional fee of Ksh. 1,500.00 and Ksh. 2,750.00 respectively for Skills lab Manuals and materials.

Fees is payable in two instalments i.e. per semester payable at the beginning of the semester.

Items like registration fee, Library & ICT services and Student Identity Card are paid in the first semester only. For first year joining KMTC under regular and self sponsored program, they pay Ksh 80,700.00 and Ksh 120,700.00 P.A respectively.

Other charges at KMTC

Charges  for meals and accommodation shall be payable directly at the respective college at applicable rates. The respective college bank account details shall be provided upon admission for purpose.

 

 

 

Should the student be discontinued on Academic grounds and/or any other reasons, he/she will be expected to pay full fees accordingly on resumption of training.
