Deep Sorrow As Two Teachers Are Lynched In Kakamega.

On Monday afternoon  ,two  teachers were  lynched by irate mob after being caught taking five stolen cows to a slaughter house in Kakamega County.
According to police reports, the two were cornered by irate mob at a roadblock who later descended on them with crude weapons leaving them critically wounded.
Five cows were reportedly said to have been stolen from a local dairy farmer in the outskirts of Kakamega town on Tuesday last week.
The duo are part of rowdy gang linked to cattle theft syndicate in Kakamega County and its environment.
This  incident comes only few days when two men were also lynched along the same area for being in possession of two stolen puppies.
The Security officers who responded to the scene after being tipped-off of by a local, rushed the duo who were bleeding profusely to a nearby hospital.
Reports also indicate that one of the suspects died on his way to the
hospital and his friend succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital.
Their bodies were later transferred to Kakamega County Hospital Mortuary.
Police have launched investigations into the alleged crime incident.
