Magoha Finally Reveals Exact Date When KCPE Results Will Be Announced

Magoha Finally Reveals Exact Date When KCPE Results Will Be Announced.

Prof. George Magoha, Cabinet Secretary for Education, has revealed that the 2021 KCPE results will be released on Monday, March 28 or Tuesday, March 29.

Magoha revealed the information on March 23, when he opened a KCSE exam container in Kibra, Nairobi.

The results, according to the minister, will be announced after President Uhuru Kenyatta gives him the go-ahead on Monday or Tuesday next week.

“We have completed marking of the exam. We are now finalising the tallying and verification of the results before they can be certified as ready for release,” he said.

Magoha, speaking in Kayole, stated that most of the exams completed last week had been marked.

“So we are still working with some time next week, anytime between Wednesday and Saturday depending on the President’s availability, we should be able to tell our children how they have performed and this is good so that their parents can start planning for them,” he stated.

1.2 million candidates took the national exams over a three-day period in 28,248 exam centers across the country, supervised by 242,406 teachers assigned by the Teachers Service Commission.

The class of 2021 is expected to enter Form One in May. 2021 KCPE exams were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
