Cases of suicide are on the rise in the country in the past few months with the government unsure of what should be done to curb such incidents that has bedeviled our nation.
According to report we received yesterday late evening, the young girl committed suicide in the school compound under unclear circumstances.
All the girls and other stakeholders in the school were sent into a panic mode after the incident was reported.
The shocking incident at Ndaraweta Girls High School that is found in the county of Bomet in Rift Valley Kenya has left many Kenyans in panic.
We extend our condolences to Ndaraweta Girls High School fraternity, the family and friends of the young girl who has just taken her life.
Investigation has since been launched to establish what possibly drive the young girl to take her life while in the school compound.
More information into the matter will be communicated by the school management today morning. Students may not attend classes today since the school management is likely to give them time to recover from panic mode.
