How to apply For TSC Replacement Vacancies Online 2022
The Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) has announced a mass recruitment of teachers.
TSC has announced 5,000 secondary school teaching vacancies and 1,000 primary school teaching vacancies.
The hired teachers will have permanent and pensionable contracts.
TSC stated in a notice on Tuesday that interested and qualified candidates should submit their applications online through the Commission’s website, www.tsc.go.ke under ‘Careers’ or teachersonline.tsc.go.ke by July 12th, 2021.
How to apply For TSC Replacement Vacancies Online 2022
All applicants must be Kenyan citizens with a TSC number.
Candidates who are interested should create an account on the TSC Online portal, teachersonline.tsc.go.ke.
To create an account, teachers must update their academic credentials, which must include primary and secondary school certificates as well as tertiary level certificates.
Applicants for primary school positions must hold a Primary Teacher Education (PTE) Certificate (P1 certificate) from KNEC or a Bachelors of Education degree (Primary education) from a university recognized by the Kenyan government (with 2 teaching subjects.).
A Diploma in Education from a recognized teacher training institution is required for secondary school teachers.
They must have a minimum mean grade of C+ in KCSE or its equivalent (one principle and two subsidiaries in A-level) and a minimum C+ or credit pass in the two teaching subjects.
Step By Step Procedure For Applying TSC Replacement Vacancies
A. Primary Teachers Online Application
- Click Career then Teachers/Secretariat then CLICK apply for teachers
Recruitment/Internship. The screen below will be displayed.

- Type in the TSC No, ID number and mobile and choose your selection either
primary or secondary by clicking the drop down menu as shown below and
click ok.

- The sms code from TSC Kenya will be send to the applicant mobile phone
and the screen below will appear
4. Type in the sms code as shown below and click ok
5. The screen below will be displayed. Click on Apply/view as shown below
6. The screen below will be displayed where the applicant will fill in the details
- Choose the Ref from the dropdown as shown and fill the other details not
auto filled and click ok
8. The screen below will be displayed. Click yes as shown
- The screens below will be displayed showing the list of applications done by
applicants.
NOTE: The teacher can make several application in different
counties/sub counties

B. Secondary teachers Online Application
- Click Career then Teachers/Secretariat then CLICK apply for teachers

- The sms code from TSC Kenya will be send to the applicant mobile phone
and the screen below will appear
4. Type in the SMS code as shown below and click ok as shown
- The screen below will be displayed for secondary teacher. Click on
Apply/view as shown below.
6. The screen below will be displayed where the applicant will fill in the details.
- Choose the Ref from the dropdown as shown and fill the other details not
auto filled and click ok as shown below. Click the button +click here to
apply a school as shown
8. On clicking +click here to apply to a school the screen below is displayed
- Choose the subjects, county, sub county and school and click ok as
shown below.
- The screen below is displayed showing the date, county, sub county,
school and stage of the application
11. The teacher can apply for several vacancies as shown below. CLICK OK.
