In a recently surfaced viral video, Pastor Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre appears to take an unusual approach to his ministry by selling plain papers to his congregants.

In the video, Ng’ang’a tears the plain papers into pieces, asserting that these torn fragments represent money. He encourages his followers to purchase these pieces, emphasizing that upon reaching home, they should inscribe the day’s date on them.

Amidst the commotion as his followers eagerly scramble for the torn papers, an animated Ng’ang’a breaks into laughter, declaring, “Hizi ni pesa, hizi ni milioni moja…. Hizi nauza… Ukifika nyumbani andika tarehe ya leo” (Translation: “These are money, these are one million… I am selling these… When you get home, write today’s date”).

Throughout the video, Pastor Ng’ang’a maintains a jovial demeanor, seemingly finding amusement in the unusual transaction.

Despite the unconventional nature of the “sale,” his followers willingly come forward, presenting varying amounts of cash to acquire Ng’ang’a’s torn pieces of paper.

This event follows closely on the heels of another incident where Pastor Ng’ang’a made headlines for expelling a woman who was caught sleeping in the church.

In the video, Pastor Ng’ang’a addresses the sleeping congregant, asking where she came from, and instructs her to leave the service temporarily to “take a breather.”

“Where are you from? Wake up and take your stuff. Leave and stay outside; you will come later,” he exclaims. In a humorous tone, Ng’ang’a suggests a solution to her sleepiness, advising her to “go out and be rained on, let the rain cool you down.”

The pastor also warns congregants against sitting next to someone dozing off, stating that he will remove both individuals if he finds someone sleeping close to another.

“Nikikuta mtu amelala akiwa karibu na wewe nakutoa na yeye,” or “If I find someone sleeping close to you, I will remove both of you.”
