Kenyan Government Advertises Jobs For Youths And People Living with Disability: Ministry of ICT, Innovation, And Youth Affairs.

The government has offered job opportunities for youth around the country in partnership with the Ministry of ICT, Innovation, and Youth Affairs.
According to the job notice posted on Tuesday, November 2, the new positions will be provided under the National Youth Council, which is being reconstituted.
The selected candidates will be appointed to the National Youth Council Election Committees, that will have a say in government matters, resource allocation to fellow youngsters, and advocating for chances to be granted to youths.

Roles.
The roles are not restricted to any profession or level of experience, but are open to all young people.
Young people with disability, as well as young women, have been invited to apply for the roles, which will consider individuals from various counties across the country.
Regulation on the Establishment and Composition of Election Committees 6.(3) and 4.(1)(h) (d). The Cabinet Secretary for ICT, Innovation, and Youth Affairs “wishes to find eligible individuals for appointment to the respective committees,” according to the job posting.
The only qualification for the posts is that the applicant be a Kenyan youth who lives in a particular constituency.
“For the purposes of regulation, interested candidates must be Kenyan youth and must reside within the corresponding Constituency of application.”

Application
The application procedure is straightforward. All that is required of interested candidates is that they log into their web portal.
After checking in, users are expected to fill out an online form with their personal information as well as the constituency they belong.
