KUCCPS Opens Portal For Application of TVET Courses (Government Sponsored)- May 2022 Intake

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the portal for students seeking to apply for diplomas, certificates and artisan courses in a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution-May 2022 intake.

According to KUCCPS, the online application begins on Wednesday,February 9, and will end on , 20th February ,2022

Those seeking to apply for artisan certificate courses should possess a minimum KCSE Grade of E, craft certificate courses should have a mean grade of D (plain) and above.

On the other hand, those seeking to apply for diploma courses should have a mean grade of C- (minus) and above.

“All KCSE (2000 to 2021) certificate holders who have not benefitted from government-sponsorship for TVET training from are eligible to apply where they meet the minimum requirements .” KUCCPS stated.

How to Apply;

1.All applications must be done online through the student’s portal accessible through the KUCCPS website students.kuccps.net

2.Log in using your credentials ie KCSE index number, KCSE year and password.

(For your initial password, use your birth certificate number or KCSE index number)

3.Once you’ve logged in, select four courses that you would like to pursue and the government institution.

4.List them in order of priority, the first being the most preferable and the fourth being the least.

5.Once done click submit.

N/B: Applicants are advised to visit KUCCPS Service desk for more information or support from various Huduma centres. The centres include Nairobi (GPO), Mombasa, Kisumu, Nyeri, Garissa, Kitui, Eldoret, Kakamega, Meru, Kitale, Thika, Isiolo, Narok, Laikipia and Nakuru.
