Meet Kenyan Body Building Champions who Bagged Medals Without Us Knowing.
Sounds like a joke? Well, meet these four Kenyan sportsmen and women who managed to represent our country at their cost in an international Sports event.
Much was learnt about the Kenyans four sporting fanatics in Carol Radul’s NTV sport show dubbed ‘The Game Plan.’ Carol is a TV personality who passionately runs the sports show every Monday at 10:30 pm assisted by Roy Kahuhise and Kieni Githinji.
In the NTV exclusive interview on Monday November 1st 2021 at 10:00pm, the sports personalities confessed to having no body building confederation back in Kenya to cater for their plight. They passionately appealed to the government of Kenya to give such considerations in the sporting world.
The four body builders namely, Eldon Achara, Lucy Ndirangu, Kelly Kadima and Claire Obora won a total of two gold medal and a silver medal at a time when Kenya as a country was not even aware of their representation abroad.
“We are here on our own,but we give thanks to support from our friends who made it possible for us financially. We may only encourage our country and county governments to give support to this sport, body building. This may assist with our demanding and strict diet.” Said one of them.
