Knec: here is the kcse 2021/2022 examination timetable

The examination body knec has finally announced dates and other guidelines pertaining to the forthcoming kcse national examinations. Major announcements to the public took place in the knec official website www.knec.ac.ke and twitter handle, @ExamsCouncil.

From the posted examination timetable for the kcse exams year 2021/2022, the exam body shared instructions to all parties and stakeholders in the forthcoming examination that included, the candidates, teachers, examination officials such as supervisors and invigilators.

The circulars and guidelines communicated the timetable, guidelines and instructions. The ksce exams is set to begin on Monday 14/03/2022. The timetable shows days, dates, sessions and duration for each paper.

The timetable indicates that:
-All lessons must start at 8:00am.
-No extra time to be allowed.
-Supervisors and invigilators to ensure candidates write their names, index numbers and sign.
-candidates to ensure they take exams only on the subjects they registered for.

From the time table, there are certain category of examination that is ongoing. They are scheduled to run for 7months from July 2021 to January 2022.
The papers include:-
442/3 Art and design
443/3 Agriculture
444/2 Woodwork
445/2 Metalwork
446/2 Building and Construction
451/3 Computer Studies
Schools are instructed to upload scores for any subject with a project component latest 30th October, 2021 for milestone 1 and 31st January, 2022 for the milestone 2.

Rehearsal for the kcse exams will be on Friday 25/02/2022. The candidates will get know the exam officials, assigned to them during the examination period.

Immediately there after, on Monday, 14th March,2022. First general paper will start for all the candidates nationally. At 8:00am–10:00am, English 101/1 (functional skills) exams will be taken for 1st session. This will be followed with a 30 minutes break, 10:30am – 11:00am. 2nd session will be Chemistry 233/1, 11:00am – 1:00pm.

The entire examination exercise is scheduled to end on Friday 01/04/2022 with physics practicals, 1st session starting at 8:00am-10:00am. This then will mark the end of the examination administration. The exam body will then focus on transportation and marking of exams, then analysis and release of the results.
