Relief To  Primary Teachers Who Advanced Their Studies To Diplomas After TSC Issues These Directives

Primary school teachers who pursued their studies and earned degrees have all reasons to smile after the Teachers Service Commission’s move to teach in secondary school.

TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia has directed that the teachers be issued with  posting letters to teach in Kenya’s secondary schools today across the country to help address acute teacher shortage in the secondary school section.

Dr. Nancy Macharia today confirmed that letters have been issued to eligible teachers and are expected to report at their new stations soon as the list of successful teachers will soon be out.

Macharia further adds that the teachers who have been deployed are qualified and meet all the requirements for teaching in secondary schools.

She says the teachers have achieved Bachelor of Education degrees and are therefore suitable to teach in secondary school.

My Teachers Service Commission’s move to deploy primary school teachers in secondary schools will be of great help as it will help in bridging the shortage of teachers which is being experienced for many years
